United went down to a disappointing defeat to bottom side Taplow United despite taking the lead in the thirty fifth minute through a turn and shot by Sam Guze.
However, rather than build on the lead Woodley were tentative in their passing which was often intercepted with Taplow getting the ball forward quickly as was the case following the lead that saw Pete Davies make a tremendous save a minute after the lead but unable to prevent Jordan Jawandha levelling six minutes before half time and Davies denying the same player with a minute to the break.
Two half time substitutes saw Woodley have an improved balance to the side and enjoy good possession without threating the visiting goal.
The deciding score came in the eighty first minute when James Oldham broke free to score one on one past Davies. United rallied with Toby Briggs shooting wide and Callum Samuel-Harman firing over in the fifth minute of stoppage time shortly after Taplow had seen a third goal disallowed for off side.
