United started the match strongly forcing the Berk County keeper Nick Wiggett in to conceding a corner after fifteen seconds which was immediately followed by a second. However, Woodley were unable to maintain the early momentum allowing the visitors to get into the game and look threatening on the attack.
Berks took the lead on thirty one minute when Jon Norris parried a shot which a forward reacted first to put into the net. The lead was extended a minute before the break when Danny Greenwood conceded a free kick on the edge of the penalty area which was converted.
United started the second half stronger and with the early introduction of Sam Guze and Callum Samuel - Harman coupled with a change of formation took the initiative and looked dangerous going forward. A foul on Toby Briggs saw Liam Wilson convert the penalty to reduce the arrears after sixty eight minutes.
Marvin Hinds and Samuel - Harman were increasingly dangerous on the wings and it was no surprise when Wilson levelled with a headed goal after County defensive uncertainty with seventy six minutes played. A minute later Hinds broke free of the defence and squared to the unmarked Briggs to slot into an empty net for the winning goal.
