This was a comfortable win against a team bottom of the league without any points with United in the ascendency from the kick off moving the ball well and using the width to go effect which allowed Adam King and Chris Randall space behind the opposing full backs.
It was one such move that led to the corner kick that King took and scored direct with the ball going into the net of the home keeper after six minutes.
Although this was the only score of the half Sam Guze and Adrian Vazquez were dangerous up front creating a number of chances but failing to convert them.
With the pitch becoming heavier as the game progressed the second half became stamina sapping with United having to withstand considerable pressure which was comfortably dealt with by the defence and keeper Pete Davies, who was keeping his third clean sheet of the season.
The match deciding goal came in the eighty fourth minute when Luke Blackebrough fired home from close range following a King free kick.
Special mention to u18 player Reece Brown on his man of the match performance.
