United made hard work of a game they controlled from the second minute when Chaffin broke free of the home defence and saw his shot deflect of a lunging defender to beat home keeper Lucas Chapman.

Although there was no further half time score, Shamen Goswell's dangerous runs down the left wing saw him shot over with just Chapman to beat and then be denied by Chapman when one on one.

It was a Goswell cross a minute into the second half that saw Chaffin double the visitors' lead. Chaffin completed his hat trick eighteen minutes into the second half when he got on the end of a Leo Richardson pass to slot pass Chapman.

Seventy one minutes into the game a multi pass move started by keeper Jon Norris and including Nuno Antunes, Goswell and James Elderton saw Richardson score from close range to make the score 4-0.

Woodley was then guilty of taking their foot of the pedal and allowed the hosts to score twice in two minutes to half the deficit with twelve minuts remaiing through Harrison Luffrum's cross from the right going in off Norris' far post and Danny Nicholson finding the net from close range.

Richardson had a goal disallowed for offside with seven minutes remaining at time when the Royals were playing with nine men due to sin bin offences.
