Final pre-season frindly ends in a draw

A pleasing performance that saw the team start nervously and improve as the game progressed with plenty of good football played and full use of the pitch made.

AFC Corinthians opened the scoring on five minutes when the scorer was allowed to run from distance as United backed off and shoot from the edge of the penalty area.

As United settled they started to push forward with Jake Brown dangerous up front but it was Tim Green who levelled the scores on the half hour with the lob.

The second half saw good United pressure with Toby Briggs coming closest. However, AFC Corinthians regaining the lead from a direct free kick after sixty five minutes. Chris Park levelled the scores eight minutes later.

A good way to finish pre-season with impressive performances by Greg Taylor, Ross McMillan, Park and Sean Raiche.
