Games to be played 5-6 October

Despite not having a game last weekend the first team moved up a position in the league on Tuesday evening after Langley, who had briefly gone above Woodley at the weekend, found themselves below them again after a heavy midweek defeat. United return to action on Saturday with a tough test against one of only two unbeaten sides in Division One East. Risborough Rangers have won six out of seven and are also going well in the various cups, winning the three matches that have been played since their last fixture. The last time the two sides met was in February 2017 with Woodley coming out on top in a BBFA Intermediate Cup semi final.

Like the first team the Royals had a week off and return with a home fixture against a team that has got off to a good start. Maidenhead Town have a 100% record from their four games whilst United currently have four points on the board.

The ‘A’ team have had a difficult start to the season and are still searching for their first points of the campaign. They host Twyford & Ruscombe side who have won one, drawn one from their two matches.

Sunday Teams

Woodley’s 100% start to the season ended in a seven goal thriller with Crowthorne last week. They will look to get back to winning ways when they visit a Winkfield side who were thrashed 8-1 in their last game.
