Games to be played 20-23 October

A well deserved 4-1 victory last Saturday saw the first team pick up their first win of the season and move onto the next round of the Bluefin Sports (UHL) Challenge Cup. That tie takes place this weekend when Woodley visit Clanfield (85) who sit mid table in the Hellenic Division One West. United won 3-1 when the sides last met in November 2014. Three days later Woodley are away at Thatcham Town Development in the Perpetua Press Floodlit Cup; a tie that was due to have taken place this week.

The Royals have a local derby with Wokingham & Emmbrook Reserves. Both sides have started the season struggling with United picking up three points from seven games and their opponents winning two out of six. Woodley host and won their last game, which was in the BBFA Intermediate Cup.

The ‘A’ side saw their last game abandoned meaning their league record remains won one lost one. They have a home game against Maidenhead Town ‘A’ who have an identical record to United.

Sunday Teams

The Reserves got their season up and running with a big win a fortnight ago. They have a home game against AFC Crowthorne Crows who have lost two out of two.
