Woodley United U8 Tornadoes v Caversham Trents U8 Black

Great sunny start to the day, this was the second game for the newly formed Tornadoes. A great start was made by the opposition with lots of passing and movement putting pressure on the Tornadoes. The team started to settle down after ten minutes of play and started to really find their positions.
Zack’s work rate and movement was very good which created chances to score and James really managed to keep the ball and was confident to take shots which gave him the opportunity to score. Keenan really started to put pressure up front which built confidence for the team to distribute the ball and the work rate followed.

Change of goalie at half time with Ashar coming on to centre midfield with lots of energy and marking players constantly with good creativity and passing. The last 5 minutes of the game the team held their game with defence showing their effort and passion for the game. Great performance from the boys and lots of positive attitudes, keep up the good work you were superb.

Player of the match goes to Prayrit, solid defence and good clearing.

Effort award goes to Zack, working hard through out the game and being a team player.
