Games to be played 9-14 April

Consecutive victories for the first team have given them a fighting chance of not finishing bottom. They are without a game at the weekend but play on both Tuesday and Thursday evenings. On Tuesday they host Henley Town and 48 hours later complete their 15/16 campaign with a home game against Old Woodstock Town; the only team United can catch. With three points separating the teams it could easily go down to goal difference. As it stands Woodley have a worse goal difference but if Old Woodstock lose the games left after they face United that could easily change.

Like the first team the reserves play twice this week. On Saturday they go to sixth placed Newbury then on Monday they host second bottom Rotherfield United. The 'B' side have a home match against TDC Knights in the cup; this game was originally scheduled for last week.

The under 16's complete their season with a home game against basement side Ascot United Athletic. Three points for Woodley will see them cement their position in mid table.

All three under 14's sides have home games. With three games left the Hammers need to beat Ascot United Aces to give them a chance of finishing outside the bottom two. The Spitfires face Mytchett Athletic Eagles; Mytchett are two places and seven points better off than Woodley. The Meteors play AFC Aldermaston; this is fifth versus seventh.

Featured age group – under 12's

The Spitfires suffered only their third league defeat of the season last week. They will look to rebound from that setback and keep pace with leaders West Berkshire Warriors with a win in their home game against Maidenhead Boys & Girls. Both the Tigers and Hurricanes play friendlies; they are away at Wrightchoice CSA and at home against Highmoor United respectively. With two games left the Tornadoes are still searching for their first three points of the season; they will look to get that elusive win in their home game against Wokingham & Emmbrook FC Rangers.

Sunday teams

The first team have a midweek home match against Mod (The) on Tuesday. The reserves are away at Finchampstead Athletic Sunday 'A'; this is sixth versus seventh.

Congratulations go to the 'A' team who got through to the Berkshire Trophy Centre Junior Cup final last Saturday; they are without a game this weekend. As are the under 15's and under 12's Cyclones.
