Games to be played 5-6 March

The first team are in the middle of a run of three consecutive away games. This weekend they face Wantage Town reserves who are the last team Woodley got league points against. Woodley are four points adrift at the foot of the table whilst Wantage are nine points and four places better off.

The reserves are back in league action on Saturday when they host Hurst. Three points for United will see them go above their opponents. The 'A' team are also at home; they play a Twyford & Ruscombe side who sit bottom and only have won once this season. A win for Woodley will see them go third. The 'B' team are away at fourth placed Hurst 'A'.

The under 16's are having a decent season and currently sit third. They face their hardest league game so far when they go to league leaders Southcote Colts who have only dropped points twice in fourteen games. The under 14's Hammers are also away at Southcote Colts. Both the under 14's Spitfires and AFC Henley Hotspur are level on thirteen points; they face off at the weekend with Woodley being the away side.

Featured age group – under 12's

The Spitfires have a home cup game against West Berkshire Warriors; this is a battle between division ones two best teams. The Tigers racked up their twelfth straight league win last Saturday when they thumped AFC Whitchurch; they have a home game against Caversham Trents FC Blues who despite being third are twenty points behind Woodley. In the same division the Hurricanes host Highmoor United; this is fifth versus seventh. The Cyclones are looking to move off the foot of the table. A win in their home game against third bottom Caversham AFC Mustangs could see that happen. The Tornadoes face a bottom of the table clash against Caversham AFC Stallions; a win for Woodley in their home game will see them get within a point of their opposition.

Sunday teams

After a narrow cup loss last week the first team are back in league action on Sunday hosting a Burghfield side who have won eight out of nine. The reserves are away at Bracknell Maniacs reserves; Woodley are five points and three places better off.

The under 15's, the under 14's Meteors and both the under 13's sides are without games.
