Games to be played 5-6 December

The first team are away at Hellenic Premier side Brimscombe & Thrupp on Saturday. This is the second attempt at this fixture as the Bluefin Sports Challenge Cup second round tie had to be postponed a few weeks ago.

The reserves, who are currently mid table host table toppers Reading YMCA; a side that have only lost once in the league this season. The 'A' side continued their good run of form with another three points last weekend; victory in their home game against Taplow United reserves could see them up to second. The 'B' team are also at home. They welcome a Goring United reserves side who are two places and two points worse off than United.

The under 16's host second placed Crusaders Knights. Despite having played five fewer games than their opponents the under 15's are above AFC Henley Hurricanes. Due to lack of games played Woodley will look to gain on the teams above them in their away match.

Even though they currently sit second bottom the under 14's Hammers could move into mid table if they beat Ashley Hawks and other results go their way. The under 14's Spitfires host a Reading FC Women side who have won four out of five and will go top if they win their games in hand. The under 14's Meteors go to Pinewood Panthers who have only picked up points in one of their six league games.

Featured age group – under 12's

The Spitfires who have won five out of six have a home game against Rotherfield United FC Mustangs. The Tigers made it eight wins on the bounce last week with a comprehensive away win. They will look to maintain their 100% start with a home game against Hurst Youth FC Hurricanes who are yet to pick up a point. In the same division a victory for the Hurricanes in their home game against Kennet Valley will see them up to second. A win for the Cyclones will see them go above their opponents; they host Theale Tigers B whilst the Tornadoes face a tricky home game against unbeaten Highmoor Athletic.

Sunday teams

The first team host Whitley Wood who beat Woodley last weekend 5-2. The reserves are also at home; they play Bearwood Wanderers who have lost seven out of their nine league fixtures.
