United completed their league programme with Flackwell Heath on Monday evening. After drawing 0-0 away at the start of August the only goal of the home match was scored by the visitors' Sheridan Campbell in the seventeenth minute.
Woodley were under the cosh right from the start with Flackwell looking very dangerous from set pieces. In the opening minutes a right wing corner was met with a firm header forcing Alex Reed in goal into a good stop. The rebound fell to a red shirt who saw his shot deflected behind for another corner, this time from the left. This also was met by a Flackwell head but blocked by an unfortunate team mate two yards out!
Seventeen minutes in and with United struggling to get out of their half Heath took the lead. A deep free kick fell invitingly to Campbell who beat Reed from twelve yards.
More pressure from Flackwell followed; Reed showed good athleticism to tip over after the away side won another aerial ball before the Woodley keeper denied Jamie Essex after the Heath forward latched onto a through ball.
The last fifteen minutes of a one sided half were played without any clear cut chances created.

Like the previous fixture between the two sides it was a game of two halves with United much improved after the break. In the opening stages Danny Horscroft was denied by David Lyons in the Flackwell goal. Rushing off his line quickly Horscroft couldn't get enough on his shot to lift over the keeper.
Horscroft then had a header blocked as Woodley created more in the first ten minutes of the half than in the previous forty five.
At the other end Tom Grant saw his shot from the right side of the box deflect behind as United withstood several set pieces.
Woodley then had two promising crosses intercepted. Firstly Tom Willment cut out a Nathanael Robinson cross from the left whilst a crucial interception was made to deny Robinsoon finding Horscroft who would have had been clear on Lyons goal.
Between the two half chances United made a change. Carl Prestidge replaced debutant Jaydyn Englefield.
More scoring opportunities were created by the hosts. A deep free kick was headed narrowly wide before substitute Amin Khomsi, who replaced Ashley Ledger in the seventy fifth minute, forced Lyons into a fine save to keep out a shot heading for the top right corner.
With eleven minutes left United made a final change when Luke Turner came on for Owen Davies. This saw Turner take over from Michael Porter at right back with the latter playing up front flanked by Robinson and Prestidge.
The extra height up top gave Woodley more options with Porter winning many headers, however no real chances were created and the game ended with a couple of United bookings as frustration set in.
