Town twice come from two down to share six goals and the points.

Woodley Town completed their 2014 - 15 season with a home game against Headington Amateurs and started well creating the game’s first chance that was dealt with by Connor Henderson in the away goal. At the other end Town keeper Dan Smith was called into action diving low to deny Luke Cuff.

Continuing to dominate possession a nice move by Town working the ball to the right wing saw Henderson tested with a low drive followed by being denied a deserved lead when a powerful effort cannoned back off the Headington left post.

Fifteen minutes in and it was all Town; a good run down the wing by full back David Frimpong saw him square the ball into the penalty area to agonising evade the oncoming Town players.

Five minutes later saw Headington take the lead completely against the run of play. A speculative shot by Tom Payne from distance was tipped onto the post by Smith, unfortunately for Town the ball nestled at the feet of Ollie Zaja who smashed home.

The goal didn't deter Town who carried on creating chances. A fantastic Town move saw the ball fall to man of the match Jordan Goddard whose saw from eighteen yards missed high to the left.

Half an hour gone and Headington had a great chance to double their lead when a through ball found Zaja on the left side of the box, he struck his shot well forcing Smith to pull off a fantastic save while at the other end Headington cleared off their own line.

The visitors increased their lead seven minutes before the break when a long ball over the top saw Luke Cuff sent clear; rounding Smith he rolled the ball into an empty net. As the half wound down Headington nearly put the game beyond Town when a couple of chances just missed; a long range drive whistled past Smith's right hand post then an audacious chip by Shaun Jacob from outside the box missed to the left.

The final action of the half saw Town deservedly get on the score sheet when coolly slotted in from just inside the area.

It was Headington who started the second half well, forcing Smith to pull off three quick fire saves. First with his feet, then turning the ball behind for a corner and finally stopping a fierce drive from twenty yards. It took Town ten minutes to register their first shot of the half. Carlton Cox slightly dragged his shot and it missed to the left.

On the hour Smith produced his best save of the game when he saved Luke Cuff's shot with his feet after the latter picked up a Payne through ball. Moments later the Town keeper pulled off another decent stop to deny Zaja.

Mid way through the second half saw Headington regain their two goal cushion in similar fashion to the first. Smith saved the initial shot, from Payne, but was unlucky to see the rebound fall to Liam Morbey who buried his shot into the left corner.

Three minutes later and Town were right back in the game thanks to some individual brilliance by Frimpong. Picking up the ball in the opposition half the powerful striker drove at goal before firing an unstoppable shot into the top left corner from twenty yards! The goal rejuvenated Town who had begun to look weary; moments after Headington kicked off they came within inches of levelling the game when Cox saw his long range effort hit the top of the bar.

The game was swinging from one end to the other. Woodley's Max Brown showed good defensive abilities to tackle Luke Cuff then outmuscle a red shirt to win Town a goal kick. At the other end a defensive mistake saw Keyron Hylton nip in and get the equaliser that Town richly deserved when his low effort found the bottom left corner in the first minute of stoppage time.
