After a slow start which saw Almondsbury have the better of the opening fifteen minutes, United got into the game with Abdul Kamara looking impressive in his first start of the season and Josh Drew and Nathanael Robinson lively in attack.
The home side opened the scoring after thirty three minutes when Sam did well to save the first shot but was unable to stop the follow up. A minute before the break United levelled when Ashley Ledger pass to Drew out wide who ran and rounded the keeper before passing to Robinson to score.
Robinson but Woodley in front on the fifty fourth minute scoring direct from a free kick on the left and at this stage the visitors looked the most likely to win the match.
A smart turn and shot on seventy three minutes saw the scores once again levelled before Almondsbury restored their led from a corner with four minutes remaining and two minutes later completed the scoring.
