Woodley United completed their preparation for the 2015/16 season this afternoon when they played their final pre-season game at Berkshire County Sports.
Woodley's first real chance fell to Rupen Limbu on twelve minutes; his near post header just missed to the right following a Javies Catlyn corner. Minutes later United went ahead when striker Omar Cofie fired home from twenty yards. At the other end a cross from the left flashed across Woodley's six yard box.
Woodley were dominating possession, trying to play it out from the back and looking a real threat when in the final third. Catlyn produced a decent stop from the home goalie before the hosts levelled the game with a well taken volley from just inside the United box.
As the half wound down Cofie saw a volley miss from a Mark Ingram cross; whilst United had a let off as the hosts clipped the top of Dan Smith's bar.

The second half started with United having a lot of the ball but struggling to create a clear cut chance. Infact it took twenty minutes before they mustered their first chance since the restart; Harvey Beales' cross come shot from the right was dealt with by the Berks goalkeeper.
With twenty minutes to go the bar denied United twice in quick succession. First Catlyn hit the woodwork after getting on the end of a Carlton Cox cross then the former clipped the top of the bar after a fierce drive from twenty yards.
Despite Woodley bossing the game it was Berkshire who got their second and the games final goal with fifteen minutes left. A quick counter attack down the left ended with the ball going in from very close range.
The goal was hard on Woodley but they pressed forward. A mazy Limbu run down the left wing ended with the Woodley forward cutting in before firing over from outside the box. Whilst a goalmouth scramble in stoppage time saw several Woodley shots blocked by the home defence.
