However, their possession resulted in nothing as Hurricanes strongly defended and cleared out any danger. However, with counter attacks, Hurricanes had great chances; Fleet’s goalkeeper made an unbelievable save from close range. Having struggling with 10 players, Hurricanes gained confidence when the 11th player became ready after 10 minutes. We pushed forward and Fleet’s defence struggled to cope with Mudathir multiple times. However, Fleet were always a danger attacking and had great chances. The ball didn’t want to go out of our box and even after their shot was brilliantly saved by Bradley, it came back to their striker who shot but Hamed blocked it. Straight after, Fleet had a shot which became a cross and fell to Fleet’s striker in the box who hit the post. Fleet’s wingers were dangerous but Joel and Eman played great by keeping them out while Alfie and Adam both worked together to deny Fleet’s striker a goal.

Fleet now attacked with more players, which left their defence open. Fleet’s right winger made a cross on the floor across the box, but no one got a touch on it. They put on pressure and we struggled to get out of our half as tiredness was an effect with all players playing the full match, until finally the ball was cleared out and we had a period in Fleet’s half. Daejaun made some great skills and left a Fleet player sitting down after a skillful turn!

Final score: Hurricanes 3-0 Fleet
Player of the match: Daejaun
He may have not scored, but he created chances and was always a danger in attack.
This was a great result, considering it wasn’t the full team, but every player played with passion and desire. To keep a clean sheet, against Fleet who have scored 42 goals in 13 matches, is a great achievement and there is alot of praise for the goalkeeper and defenders for this. All in all, Hurricanes took their chances and that made the difference. Keep going Hurricanes!
