Hurricanes face Spitfires in a rearranged match from February 24. The match was very even in the first half. Continuous good play in the midfield created chances but we didn't have enough shots and Spitfires' defenders were organised. Spitfires' No.3 defended resiliently, blocking and clearing the ball many times. Spitfires' also had a few chances but Hurricanes' defence played brilliantly to stop Spitfires' attacks. First half ends 0-0 with no big chances. Hurricanes' needed to have more shots on goal to have a chance of scoring.
Spitfires started off the second half better and scored within 4 minutes (44:00) to make it 1-0. However, Hurricanes were determined to keep the unbeaten run going and responded well to show character and desire. (48:00) Kaya played a great pass to Mudathir, who beat the keeper and scored bottom corner 1-1. This goal gave the Hurricanes' players confidence to get another goal and win the game. Hurricanes attacked dangerously and created many chances only to be denied continuosly by Spitfires' keeper. A swap in positions between Mudathir and Traveace for 5 minuted resulted in Mudathir losing the defender that marked him, and enabled him to find more space to be more dangerous.
(54:00) Kaya recieved the ball in midfield and played another brilliant pass to Mudathir, who confidently lobbed the goalkeeper in an e in posamazing finish. 2 goals in 6 minutes. A great response makes it 2-1 to the Hurricanes. Spitfires were eager to get back in the game but Joel, Alfie, Malachai and Adam all defended passionately as they stopped the Spitfires attackers from getting another goal.
(59:00) Mudathir receives the ball near Spitfires' box, runs forward and sees himself 1 on 1 with the keeper, he unselfishly passes it to Jamie who taps it in the net to make it 3-1 to the Hurricanes. This is Jamie's 3rd goal in 2 matches to continue his good form. From this point, Hurricanes controlled the match and finished the match well
