Hurricanes, despite a strong performance, draw with Winnersh Rangers
Strong team performance away against Winnersh. Winnersh controlled the match in the first 15 minutes and scored to make it 1-0 (13:00). However with a change of formation, Hurricanes responded very quickly and attacked dangerously. We missed a couple of chances but we eventually scored with a penalty after Mudathir was fouled in the box, Traveace took the penalty and scored (33:00) 1-1.
This gave Hurricanes further confidence and ended the half the better team.
Second half - Hurricanes started strongly, took early possession and attacked. Winnersh struggled with our attackers and with the dangerous crosses. Hurricane's controlled the midfield and Winnersh who scored 13 goals in 2 matches found it difficult to attack.
Hurricanes dominated most of the second half and missed a lot of chances, with Winnersh's goalkeeper saving alot of shots. Hurricanes also missed a penalty and hit the crossbar. Winnersh had chances at the end of the game but Bradley made brilliant saves and clearances.
We were disappointed to not win but proud of our performance against a strong team and an acceptable draw away from home.
