Match Report for U8's Tornadoes 25th February 2017

Match Reports 25th February 2017
Berkshire Youth Development League

Henley Lions U8 Black v Woodley United U8 Tornadoes

A cold afternoon to start the game and the Tornadoes played with 5 players without substitutes.

Henley was a solid team to compete with and had excellent movement and passing, making some early breaks with accurate shooting.

The Tornadoes were a bit tense to start in the first 10 minutes before finding their feet. Enjoyment was seen by all involved with a very even first half and both team conceding goals. Second half the tornadoes settled into their positions and really began to show that they had a hold and started to put the pressure on the opponents.

James played a very sensible game, engaged with confidence and his football seemed very sleek scoring with a cheeky free kick, not forgetting to mention Keenan with him up front who moved the ball running through the opposition and making it look easy with some powerful shots.

Zack did some good clearing, pushing the ball up front, creating chances for the Tornadoes and his second half as goalie showed he can really make some saves as well. In the second half Ashar swapped goalie with Zack who fought well for the ball and the passing worked really well which created positive impact on the game.
Prayrit created a great impact on the game with some intelligent defence & really shined being at the right position when needed.

Today the Tornadoes showed they have great chemistry and bond together well as a team against a prime team. Well done to all the boys.

Player of the match
Prayrit for a firm defence throughout the game and use of good football knowledge marking players.
