Match Reports 4th March 2017
Berkshire Youth Development League

Woodley United U8 Tornadoes v Caversham Trents U8 Gold

The Tornadoes welcome back Adrian after missing out on a few matches which means they can work with a substitute in the game.

The game started with Tornadoes straight on attack and applied early pressure with Adrian coming in the game with great movement and coming on and creating a number of opportunities as well. We saw talking between players which showed good teamwork.

James' strong linking showed great diversity again and helped him positively have a real impact on the game and continued to attack hitting the top post firing the ball from middle of the pitch.
The first half Adrian and Zack did some link up play and passing with Zack. Zacks approach showed he was really on the front foot gaining ball possession continuously. Keenan came on substituting with Adrian and a solid performance with movement and controlling in attack helped him make an immediate impact.

Prayrits defence showed no flaws as the ball rarely got past him which meant the boys could attack in numbers. Prayrit swapped with Ashar in goal for the second half.

Ashar confidence seems to be building well playing on the pitch half a game a match. He worked in defence and also midfield showed his passing skills are really making a difference for the success of the team.

Lots of battling for the ball and determination by the tornadoes showed improvement in gelling together as a team.

Player of the match
Ashar for working as goalie, defender and midfielder. A well done for willing to play in all positions and great passing of the ball.
Effort award
Adrian for making a difference in quick play of the game and help improving and making the Tornadoes a stronger team as a whole.
