United's best performance of the season saw all the goals scored in the first half and the team exceed last season's points total in only their second season in the Premier Division.
From the start the visitors moved the ball quickly in attack causing the home team's defence problems and took the lead on ten minutes direct from a free kick on the edge of United's penalty area.
However, Woodley responded well with dangerous Adrian Vazquez being denied with a one on one before Adam King hit the top corner with a right foot effort to level the scores after seventeen minutes play.
Marlow continued to press and regained the lead from a penalty kick five minutes later when Jez West brought his opponent down. Not to be downhearted Woodley recovered well and following a throw in, Sam Guze level from the edge of the penalty area with twenty six minutes played.
King's dead ball delivery was to cause Marlow problems throughout the half as the home side sought to push home their first half advantage of playing with the wind to their backs and what was to prove the wining goal was scrambled home by Luke Blackbrough four minutes from the break following a corner.
Faced with playing into the wind during the second half, Woodley showed good character and work ethic to defend the lead and record the win.
