All Roads lead to three points

Woodley United Ladies 1st team returned to winning ways after two successive league defeats to win their first game of 2015 with a comprehensive 6-1 victory at Mansfield Road, thus completing the double over the Oxfordshire based team.

In a match that saw United pass the ball well leading scorer Laura Woodley opened the scoring which was followed by Louise Williamson scoring her first for the season. Although Mansfield pulled one back Williamson restored the two goal advantage prior to half time.

Further goals by Rachel Panting, Woodley and Williamson to complete her hat trick secured the doubler against a team United will face in the semi-final of the league cup, they are seeking to defend, at the end of the month
