The boys started well and had the best of the early play, passing the ball well at times on a greasy surface. Spitfires took the lead when Matt finished well after his run and shot had been blocked. Curley Park got level when a long ball caught us out. 1:1 at half time.

Second half and the boys started slower but grew into the game. Charlie scored when he battled into the box, rode a challenge or two and as the keeper stayed on his line, he slipped the ball wide of him.

Curley Park levelled against near the end but a fine team performance was kept going until the end.

Overall a very worthwhile game and one in which the lads can be happy with their efforts.
