Spitfires were made to pay for not being direct enough with the wind at their backs in the first half. They played some nice football but didn't test the Berks County keeper and the half ended 0-0.
Berks County did what Spitfires didn't do early in the second half, playing more direct football, their number 23 created two goals to put them 2-0 up. Spitfires got back into the game in the final quarter of the game and Alex was unlucky not to reduce the deficit reacting first to the Berk County keepers parry. But the only goal from Spitfires came from Russell who headed in at the back post from Alex's corner. But that was too little too late and the game ended 2-1.
Man of the match was Josh who played well in midfield.
