Spitfires started the game with intensity and scored through Sam after 4 minutes. The lads had further chances to add to the scoreline in the first half, notably through Sam again and from Corin who hit the post with a shot from the edge of the area. However Hurst got into the game as the half wore on, creating some chances from both wings.
The second half started with Hurst making good use of their pacey wingers and they equalised on 57 minutes from a cross from the right nodded in at the back post. Hirst were good value for that goal, looking like they would go on to win the game. Four minutes later though, Robert hit the ball over their keeper from a good 30 metres. It was a great goal and worthy of winning any game. That was not to be the winner though as Hurst scored a replica of their first goal to level on 65 minutes.
Two minutes later though Robert scored again, the forth goal in ten minutes! That came after Sam worked really hard to win the ball on the left and create the chance for Robert to tap in on the back post. That deflated Hurst and Spitfires scored again eigtht minutes later when Alex's shot deflected off Sam and into the net. That was the end of the scoring although in truth only Spitfires looked like adding to it.
It was a good win over a strong a confident Hurst side. Dylan was man of the match for a good captains performance, but Sam and Corin also had very games, working hard for the victory.
