Games to be played 30 Match - 2 April

Congratulations go to the ‘A’ team who finished their 18/19 season sealing promotion with a 3-1 win at third placed Taplow United ‘A’. The win puts them three points clear of Henley Town who still have two games to play. With Taplow and fifth placed Twyford & Ruscombe, who have four matches in hand, still to play each other the lowest Woodley can finish is third.

The first teams penultimate home game of the season ended in a narrow 2-1 loss to promotion chasing Thame Rangers. The score was harsh on United who hit the woodwork three times. The following week sees a home match against Holyport on Saturday and an away fixture at Didcot Town Development on Tuesday evening.

Despite a Liam Wilson brace the Royals good run of form came to an end last Saturday. Their next game sees them host second placed Marlow United who have only lost two of their seventeen league matches.

Sunday Teams

The first team only have two games left. The first of which is a home match against Woolhampton Cricket. The away fixture happened just three weeks ago with Woolhampton winning 2-1.

After back to back defeats to Berks County Sun A the reserve side face Winkfield who are one place and two points better off. With just one game after this, the result could provide crucial if United want to finish outside the bottom two.
