Weekend Preview

By Chris Burnett

Games to be played 16-17 March

The first teams Monday evening fixture against Didcot Town Development ended in a 2-0 defeat. This was the first time Woodley failed to score at home since September. Saturday sees an away match at Hellenic Division Two East side Stokenchurch, who have won their last five, in the Bluefin Sports (UHL) Supplementary Cup quarter finals.

An injury to the linesman saw the Royals game abandoned last weekend. United were drawing 1-1 with Mortimer when the incident occurred. Their next match sees them host mid table Berks County; this will be the first time the sides have met this season.

Sunday Teams

The reserves go to fourth placed Berks County Sun A. Woodley have lost their last three, their worst run of the season. With Winkfield winning last week, United find themselves in the bottom two. Next week sees the reverse fixture played with United hosting.

The ‘A’ team and Sunday first team do not play.
