Games to be played 23-24 February

After three defeats on the bounce the first team ended the run of losses with an emphatic 6-2 win over Chinnor on Saturday. This was the most goals scored in a single game by Woodley this season. This weekend sees United visit Wokingham & Emmbrook. The sides have met three times this season with Woodley winning two, including a 2-1 win at Wokingham when they last played each other at the start of the year.

The bottom two in the Thames Valley Premier division face off on Saturday. United are cut adrift at the moment so need a win to give themselves any chance of avoiding relegation. A victory at Wrightchoice & Unity CSA will see Woodley get within four points off their opponents.

Sunday Teams

The reserves can’t quite get a run of results going. In 2019 it’s been win, loss, win, loss. This week sees a tricky game at a AFC Crowthorne Stiffs side who have only lost once this season and could go top if they win and other results go their way.

The ‘A’ side and Sunday first team are without a match this week.
