Games to be played 9-12 February

Last weekend saw all games postponed due to the heavy rain. The only team to play over the last seven days was the first team who went to Amersham on Tuesday evening to face Penn & Tylers Green. A game full of controversy ended with Penn getting an injury time winner minutes after Woodley thought they had gone 4-3 up. This week sees United go to Wallingford Town on Saturday; Woodley were denied three points by a late equaliser in November before a home match against Step Four Fleet Town in the Aldershot Senior Cup on Tuesday.

The Royals brutal run of fixtures continues on Saturday when they face a team in the top five for the fourth consecutive week they have had a league game. This time it’s a trip to leaders Cookham Dean, a side they faced just last month when a single goal gave Cookham the three points.

Sunday Teams

The first team go to third bottom Coley Park this weekend. Coley have only played six league matches and have an incredible eight games in hand on one team. United are still searching for their first league win of the season.

The reserves are also on the road, playing second bottom Crowthorne Football Club Old Boys. Woodley won their last fixture and beat Crowthorne 4-1 when the sides met last October.

The ‘A’ side are without a match this week.
