Games to be played 2-5 February

It was a good week for the first team who followed up a point at third placed Thame with an excellent win at Milton United in midweek. This sees Woodley into the quarter finals of the Bluefin Sports (UHL) Supplementary Cup. The following seven days sees league trips to Didcot Town Development on Saturday and Penn & Tylers Green on Tuesday. The Didcot game will be the first meeting of the sides this season whilst Penn won at Rivermoor in September.

The Royals are looking for their first home points since the end of August; a run of games that included a heavy defeat last weekend. This week sees them host Berks County, a side they beat earlier in the season in the BBFA Intermediate Cup.

The ‘A’ sides fantastic run of results came to an end last week when they lost to Berks County Reserves; this was first playing second. The defeat sees County close the gap at the top to six points with a game in hand. United are at mid table Henley Town on Saturday.

Sunday Teams

The first team have a huge game at the foot of the table. Four points adrift of SC United, defeat will surely mean relegation. Woodley host the match and got their only point of the season when the sides met three weeks ago.

The reserves had their home match postponed last week. Weather permitting they go to third placed AFC Crowthorne Stiffs who have only lost once this season. United are eighth in the eleven team division with a nine point cushion over the bottom two.
