Games to be played 5-8 January

The first team start 2019 with a Tuesday evening match against Wokingham & Emmbrook. This is an away fixture in the Hellenic League Subsidary Cup. With United having lost four out of their five games qualification is not possible but they can still shape the outcome of who goes through as a win or draw will see AFC Aldermaston qualify at the expense of Wokingham. The sides have shared a win a piece in their two matches this season.

After a difficult first half of the season the Royals will be hoping for better results in the new year. They have a great chance to start January with a win in their home encounter with Rotherfield United. This is a Reading Invitation Junior Cup game with Rotherfield mid table in the league below Woodley.

The ‘A’ team ended 2018 with a superb result. A Tim Green brace saw them win at leaders Berks County Reserves narrowing the gap at the top to four points. This weekend sees them host fifth placed Henley Town.

Sunday Teams

The Reserves visit the team directly above them on Sunday. Winfield have a two point lead over United but have played a game more. Woodley currently have a four point cushion over the bottom two and a vastly superior goal difference. This is the first time the sides have met this season.

The Sunday first team do not play.
