Games to be played 1-4 December

A Max Laschok brace last weekend saw the first team into the next round of the Bluefin Sports (UHL) Supplementary Cup. This was United’s fourth win in six games. This Saturday sees them visit leaders Burnham in what will be the first meeting of the sides this season. Burnham have scored an impressive twenty four goals in their last three matches, although only one of those was in the league. The game finished 1-1 when the sides met last season with both teams ending up getting relegated. Woodley are then at Farnham Town on Tuesday evening in the Aldershot Senior Cup. Farnham are a step six club currently doing very well in the Combined Counties Division One.

After three consecutive away matches the Royals have a home game against Berks County. A win will see them go level on points with their opponents; a feat they achieved back in October when they knocked Berks County out of the BBFA Intermediate Cup.

The ‘A’ side will be looking to make it three away league wins in a row with victory at basement side Maidenhead Town ‘A’. A 2-1 win last Saturday saw United up to fourth in the ten team division. Woodley won 3-2 in the reverse fixture.

Sunday Teams

The first team are still looking for their first points of the season. They host third placed Henley Town. This will be United’s first league match in three weeks.

The reserves picked up a point at Bracknell in their last game; ending a two match losing streak. This weekend sees them face Athletico Ascot. Woodley will be looking to avenge the 5-2 defeat in the away fixture.
