Games to be played 10-12 November

After a run of fixtures that has seen the first team play in cup competitions in six out of the last seven games United have back to back league matches for the first time since the middle of September. Saturday sees a trip to Chinnor in what is a bottom of the table clash. The team has come on leaps and bounds recently and will hope to start moving up the table. On Monday Woodley host mid table Wallingford Town. United won their last game, finally getting the better of AFC Aldermaston on Tuesday evening and have now won four of the last six.

The Royals are playing in the BBFA Intermediate Cup. They are struggling in the league so will be looking to put in a decent performance at Slough Heating Laurenclans Reserves. Woodley won 2-1 away in the previous round.

United’s ‘A’ side were beaten for the second time this season by Twyford & Ruscombe last Saturday. They go to second bottom Goring United Reserves whose only league win so far has ironically been against Twyford.

Sunday Teams

The first team host Aydin on Sunday. Both teams are yet to pick up any league points, with Aydin having played a game more than Woodley.

The reserves picked up a fantastic win in their last game; beating second placed AFC Crowthorne Stiffs 5-1 to move into fifth place. They have a tough game at Wokingham & Emmbrook TMW in their next game. A United win will see them get within a point of their opponents with a game in hand. A difficult ask however as Wokingham ran out 8-1 winners when the sides met a fortnight ago.
