Games to be played 15-16 September

The First Team played their first home games of the season over the last week. On Saturday they went down to a 5-0 league defeat to Milton United in a disappointing performance before a 4-2 loss on Monday evening in the B&B Senior Trophy. This week sees another game at Rivermoor as Woodley face AFC Aldermaston. United were well worth a point when the sides met just two weeks ago but lost out to an injury time goal.

Three second half goals saw the Royals lose to Woodcote Stoke Row last weekend. A result that sees them with three points from four games. They have a BBFA Intermediate Cup game against Wokingham & Emmbrook Reserves on Saturday with Woodley hosting.

The ‘A’ team started the season with an emphatic 6-1; Sam Paddon got four goals whilst Martin King netted twice. Their next match is a trip to Henley Town who opened with a 4-2 loss.

Sunday Teams

The First Team make the short journey to Twyford on Sunday to face a Comets side that won their first game of the season. United lost their opening match by a single goal.

The Sunday Reserves are without a game.
