Games to be played 26 April-2 May

The first team complete their first ever season at Step Five over the next few days. Tonight (Thursday) sees them host Royal Wootton Bassett. Two days later they return to Rivermoor to play a Longlevens side they beat only last week. Since that game United have had defeats against Ascot and Bracknell. Those losses mean that Woodley must pick up a minimum four points and hope other results go their way if they are to avoid finishing in the bottom two.

Like the first team the Royals play twice in three days. They have away fixtures on both Saturday and Monday. The first game is in the Reading Challenge Junior Cup against a South Reading side who sit second two divisions below United. Forty eight hours later they go to third bottom Highmoor Ibis United. Three points for Woodley will see them go above their opponents.

The 'A' team completed their league campaign on Wednesday evening with a massive 13-1 win at Highmoor Ibis Athletic. This result means United will finish seventh in the nine team division.

The 'B' side have a Wednesday evening game at White Eagles Reserves. Woodley are currently two places and four points better off. After consecutive draws United narrowly lost their last game 3-2.

Sunday Teams

The Reserves all but guaranteed a top three finish with an excellent 4-2 win at fourth placed AFC Crowthorne Reserves on Tuesday evening. There are now three points separating the top three with Woodley in between Warfield and Athletico Ascot. United have an away game at basement side Bracknell Saint-Germain on Thursday before a potential title decider at Warfield on Sunday.

The Sunday first team complete their season on the sixth of May.
