Games to be played 24-28 March

Due to a host of postponements the first team are hoping to play their first match in almost a month. The games have really mounted up with three scheduled over a six day period in the coming week. First up are two league matches. Despite not playing last weekend United actually went up a place with Highmoor slipping back into the bottom two on goal difference. On Saturday they face Longlevens for the first time this season; this is Woodley's final away league game of the season. Forty eight hours later Woodley host Windsor; United conceded a last minute loss to Windsor when the sides met at the start of November. On the Wednesday United return to Rivermoor to play Chesham United in the semi finals of the Berks & Bucks Senior Cup. Chesham are going well in the Southern League Premier Division which is two leagues above Woodley's level and are the biggest team the club will have played to date.

The 'A' side progressed to the next round of the Reading Challenge Jubilee Cup thanks to two extra time goals last Saturday. They return to league action this week when they visit fourth placed Wargrave. United are seventh and are nine points behind the team directly above them.

Sunday Teams

Like the Saturday first team Woodley's Sunday first team have had a lot of games called off recently. Their home game with basement side AFC Burghfield will be their first since the 25th of February. United are mid table in the ten team division.

The Reserves picked up a valuable point last time out in their away game at third placed Athletico Ascot. This means United retain second spot and are just a point off leaders Warfield. This Sunday they visit third bottom 3M FC; this game was due to be played last week.

The Saturday Reserves and 'B' team are without games.
