Games to be played 10-12 March

All men's football was called off last weekend with the first team seeing their Monday encounter with Bracknell also postponed. Weather permitting United play twice over the next week. On Saturday Woodley host Ascot United; goals from Jake Nicholls, Jaydyn Englefield and Nathanael Robinson gave James Anderson a winning start after taking over as manager when the sides last met. Since that game which happened at the end of September United have won just twice in the league and have slipped into the bottom two. On Monday Woodley have a home encounter with leaders Highworth Town who have won fifteen out of sixteen when on the road.

Like the first team the Royals are finding it hard going in the league and are looking for their first points since the first week in October. Looking to build on a comprehensive cup victory two games ago they face a Reading YMCA side who are yet to drop points in the league. United are the home side.

The 'B' team lost narrowly in their last game after getting their season back on track the week before with a 3-1 win. With games in hand on the four sides directly above them a top two finish is still obtainable and they will go above Cintra Park Rovers with an away victory.

Sunday Teams

The reserves have a massive game on Saturday when they visit third placed Athletico Ascot. With leaders Warfield in cup action three points for Woodley will see them regain top spot and open up a five point lead over their opponents

The 'A' side and Sunday first team are without a game.
