Games to be played 24-26 February

The first team play their second cup game in a row on Monday evening when they host Windsor in the Perpetua Press Floodlit Cup. Last Tuesday saw a 2-0 loss at a Thatcham side that made it twenty one wins from twenty two games. Woodley were denied a point by an injury time penalty when the sides met in the league at the start of November and with Windsor making the long trip up to Stockton on Saturday the match has the potential to be very tight.

The Royals game last weekend was postponed but they won the previous week. This Saturday sees a home game against Westwood United. This is third bottom hosting third top. This is a difficult run of games for Woodley who don't play next weekend but face Reading YMCA who are yet to drop any points in a fortnights time.

The 'A' side picked up a decent point last weekend; sharing four goals with Hurst 'A'. This weekend sees their fourth home game in a row against Braybrooke who are the team directly above them. Braybrooke ran out 5-1 winners when the sides met in a cup game in January.

A 3-1 win in their last game saw the 'B' team pick up their first points of the year. They go to Maidenhead Town 'A' on Saturday knowing three points will see them go above their opponents and potentially up to third.

Sunday Teams

Both Woodley sides picked up three points last weekend. A last minute Ben Little goal saw the first team win at AFC Burghfield. This Sunday sees a home game against Le Galaxy; a United win will see them go level on points with their opponents.

The Reserves have a big game at fifth placed AFC Crowthorne Reserves. Crowthorne are are eleven points behind leaders Woodley but have four games in hand. United's winning run goes back to the middle of November.
