Games to be played 3-5 February

After several postponements the first team will play their first match in over a fortnight on Monday evening when they host Wantage Town. One of the better teams in the division Wantage won 4-0 when the sides last met and are currently third in the league. After starting 2018 with two draws Woodley have lost the last two but remain just above the Hellenic Premier Division drop zone.

The Royals have a trip to Mortimer Reservers in the Reading Junior Challenge Cup. United suffered a heavy defeat last weekend and haven't had a positive result since the start of October. With two divisions separating the sides Woodley have a good opportunity to end the bad run of results.

The 'A' side went down by one goal in seven in their last match. This Saturday sees a home encounter with second placed Maidenhead Town Reserves. United are currently seventh in the nine team division.

The 'B' side lost 6-0 in their last game which was a Reading Challenge Diamond Cup match; their league form however is decent and if they win their games in hand on third and fourth they will be up to second behind runaway leaders Twyford & Ruscombe. This week sees a trip to Goring United Reserves who are one point better off than Woodley but have played five games more. United won the home encounter earlier in the season however Goring won when the sides met in January in a cup competition.

Sunday Teams

The first team are away at the side directly below them. United currently have a seven point lead over Mortimer however the home side have seven games in hand. This game was due to take place last week.

The Reserves are on a fantastic run; winning seven league games in a row which has seen them go top of the Bracknell Town & District Sunday League Division Two. This weekend sees a tough game at third placed Athletico Ascot.
