Games to be played 27-28 January

Last weeks fixtures saw every game fall foul of the bad weather apart for the first team's Friday night trip to Binfield. Three second half goals saw Woodley lose out however the score line was very harsh with United having long periods of the game on top. This Saturday sees a home Bluefin Sport (UHL) Supplementary Cup against Brackley Town Saints. Woodley won the home league encounter in mid October whilst Saints picked up three points on a windy evening in November.

The Royals go to fifth placed Newbury on the back of a narrow loss to Mortimer a fortnight ago. The sides drew 3-3 when they last met.

The 'A' team host Henley Town Reserves. Both sides are level on points, winning three, drawing two and losing five although United have a slightly better goal difference.

The 'B' side are also at home; they face Wokingham & Embrook Sumas in the Reading Challenge Diamond Cup. Woodley are going well in the league so will be confident of a long cup run.

Sunday Teams

The first team are away at the team directly below them. United currently have a seven point lead over Mortimer however the home side have seven games in hand.

The Reserves have a huge game at the top of the table with leaders Woodley going to second placed and undefeated Wargarve United. Just one point separates the two teams as it stands.
