Games to be played 13-15 January

The first team have started the year encouragingly; picking up a point in both their matches. A 2-2 draw with landlords Highmoor Ibis on Saturday was followed up with a superb performance that deserved victory against Abingdon. This week sees another Saturday/Monday set of fixtures. At the weekend they visit seventh placed Brimscombe & Thrupp; Woodley lost a close game when the sides last met in November. Forty eight hours later they host Windsor in the Perpetua Press Floodlit Cup.

After last weeks postponement the Royals will look to start 2018 with a result at Mortimer. The home side are two places and eleven points better off, but have played three games more. United are looking for their first points since the first week of October.

The 'A' side shared six goals with Hurst 'A' last Saturday. They are playing Braybrooke in the Berkshire Trophy Centre Intermediate Cup this week with Woodley being the home side.

The 'B' team also have a home cup game. They play Goring United Reserves in the Berkshire Trophy Centre Junior Cup. This could well be a tight game with both sides on the same points in the league.

Sunday Teams

The Reserves ended the year sitting top of their league. After promotion last season they have picked up twenty eight points from their twelve games. This week sees a trip to second bottom Bracknell Saint-Germain who are yet to win; drawing six of their ten games.

The Sunday first team do not have a game.
