Games to be played 16-17 December

A 2-0 defeat to Berks County saw the Royals rotten run of form continue; that is six defeats in a row now. This weekend sees a home encounter with bottom side Taplow United who have picked up a solitary point from their twelve games. United currently sit eleventh in the fourteen team division.

After last weeks postponement the 'B' side return to action on Saturday when they play Goring United Reserves. This is a big game at the top with fourth hosting third; a Woodley win will see them go above Goring.

Sunday Teams

The first team made it two home wins in a row with a 4-3 victory a fortnight ago. They have another home match next, taking on an Athletico Forest side who have only dropped points once this season. Three points for United will see them get within two points of their opponents.

Three points for the Reserves will see them go top; they are at seventh placed Newbold College. Newbold have scored twelve goals in their last three league games whilst Woodley are looking to extend their winning run to seven matches and do the double over their opponents having picked up a 3-2 win when the sides last met at the end of October.

The Saturday first team and 'A' team don't play.
