Games to be played 2-3 December

After having two games a week scheduled for October and November the first team start the final month of the year with just one match this week and it's arguably the toughest league fixture of the season; away at runaway leaders Highworth Town. Woodley will be encouraged with Town dropping points in their last home game but with seventeen wins in twenty a tough test awaits. United's have lost the last three league matches with their last point coming on the eleventh of November.

The Royals host Berks County in the Berkshire Trophy Centre Senior Cup; this will be the third attempt at playing this fixture. Both teams are struggling in the Thames Valley Premier League, Woodley are on a four game losing streak whilst Berks County have lost eight out of nine.

Defeat to a Twyford & Ruscombe side that made it six wins in a row means the 'B' team have now picked up just one point from a possible nine. They have a home game against third bottom Berks County Rovers this week.

Sunday Teams

The first teams double header with 116 Exiles ended all square with both sides trading wins. This Sunday sees a home encounter with Richfield Rovers Reserves; both sides are currently on ten points.

With leaders Warfield playing in a cup the Reserves can cut the gap at the top to one point with victory at basement side Braybrooke Athletic. United won the home game 4-1 at the end of October.

The 'A' team don't play this weekend.
