A 3-2 win over Premier Division champions Abingdon Town sees Vets complete a league & cup double.

Woodley started strongly with Loic Stodawa having a chance in the first minute but it needed three outstanding saves by Marc Surtees to keep the match goalless at the midpoint of the first half.

Stodawa gave United the lead on 25 minutes when one on one with the keeper following a defensive mistake but Abingdon levelled a minute later with good fast passing.

A minute into first half stoppage time Stodawa scored his second when he beat the offside to again score one on one. Abingdon were unhappy as Dean Morrision was off side but did not interfere with play or touch the ball.

The second half twice saw early chances for Woodley to score but were guilty of missing the target and Jon Norris seeing his corner kick cleared off the line before Stodawa completed his hat trick a minute from the end of normal time.

Two minutes later Abingdon pulled a goal back with a header from a corner but United saw out the five minutes stoppage time to secure the win and be champions.
