Woodley United Ladies player Natasha Master, joined forces with Cancer Research to raise money for the cause by having her head shaved on 3rd January 2018 shaving her head for a cause very close to her heart.
Eleven ago Natasha's father was diagnosed cancer free after a battle of fighting one of the highest causes of death across the world having initially being diagnosed with stage 4 cholangiocarcinoma in 2006.
Although her father never lost his hair from the chemo, many others do with Natasha seeing the hair shave as a way to raise awareness of this disease.
Natasha has initially hoped to raise £1000.00 but the total has far exceeded this with approx. £2,700.00 being donated.
Commenting Tatty said "It was the honestly the scariest but most rewarding thing I’ve ever done. It was great to hear a lot of other people’s stories about how cancer had effected their lives and how Cancer Research UK had also helped them through it. Getting it shaved was a walk in the park in comparison to waiting for it to grow back but I would do it again in a heartbeat."
Thanks for all who support Tatty and this worth cause.
