Samaritans Fundraising - Ed Hill RIP

By Mark Rozzier

Bob Holland is fundraising for Samaritans, who supported Ed, by walking non-stop around the Isle of Wight 4 & 5 May 2019.

The following is on Bob's fundraising page:

"In May I’m walking the 106 km circumference of the Isle of Wight to raise money for Samaritans.

Samaritans is available round the clock, every single day of the year providing a safe place for anyone struggling, whoever they are and however they feel.

I want to complete this challenge in memory of Ed, who sadly died in October last year.

Ed was not only my son-in-law’s brother, he was also a fellow Reading supporter and a brilliant golfing partner. We all miss him dearly.

In the last few months of his life, the Samaritans helped him and I’m hoping that any money raised will allow them to continue supporting more people who need their help."
